Following years of experience working with individual sport federations, 4F brand will support its first team sport. OTCF and the Polish Handball Federation signed an agreement under which the Polish brand will be the Technical Sponsor of the Polish Handball Federation for the next 4-year period.
The agreement comes into force on January 1, 2017 and will continue until end 2020. The 4F brand will dress men’s and women’s representations.
“4F has worked with professional sport since 2007. Until today this was with individual sport federations. For some time we had been looking for a team sport that we could engage with. We are happy that this is handball, one of two Polish team sports present at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. This is a long-term investment for us, as we believe in the success of this discipline” – says Igor Klaja, CEO of OTCF.
There are four lines in the collection for Polish handball players: match (for official Polish team games), training (for practice and light physical exercise), formal (used during official sports events, ceremonies and press conferences) and casual (outside match and training situations at groupings and official competitions). The designers used high quality toughened technical materials from Spain, Denmark and Japan. There are three basic colour sets, the first two are inspired by the Polish national colours of pure white and juicy red, while the third is navy blue. The goalkeeper’s set is in lime, to differentiate the player on the court. The collection was produced entirely in Poland.
“We are proud to have 4F, a Polish brand widely recognised and praised in the world of sport, as our partner. This gives us a sense of pride and satisfaction. I am very grateful to OTCF for its engagement and trust. It confirms that handball is a sport attractive for both sponsors and partners. 4F has dressed Polish professional sports for years, including Olympic athletes. Handball players already wore the dedicated 4F collection for the Olympic Games in Rio, and were very pleased. It is good to join the team of professional sports performers dressed by 4F” – says Andrzej Kraśnicki, President of the Polish Handball Federation.
Federations working with 4F include the Polish Athletics Federation, the Polish Ski Federation, the Polish Biathlon Association, the Polish Speed Skating Association and the Polish Canoe Federation. For the Olympic Games in Rio, 4F dressed 381 sportsmen and women from three countries. Besides dressing Polish athletes, for the first time the 4F logo appeared also on clothes worn by competitors from Serbia and Latvia.
